Frequently Asked Question

Is there any cost to post an event in the Community Calendar?
Last Updated 5 years ago

The Community Calendar is free for all local, non-profit events.

However, we do ask a $24.95 per event fee for any for-profit, commercial event. We define this as any event designed to earn business for your company, even if the event is free to the public. A public sale is an obvious example of a for-profit event. A less obvious example would be a real estate group hosting an event for veterans on how to buy a home. While the event is free for vets, it is clearly designed to bring business to the company.

The calendar works on the Honor System and there is no automated way to pay online. Just give us a call at 888-612-0003 and tell us that you want to pay to place a commercial event in the community calendar. We can take your payment via credit card or you can use PayPal. Once we have taken the payment, you are free to post the event in the calendar. Please note that we do not post the event for you as part of the fee.

Please note that there is no fee for a business to post their entertainment events in the Nightlife Calendar.
